Four reads from the past day: CSS features headed for Interop 2027, a detailed log of an agent-built browser game, a Rust port of the TypeScript compiler, and why accessibility needs its own support data.
Josh W. Comeau walks through the ten CSS features he voted for in Mozilla's Interop 2027 ranking. They run from CSS functions and corner-shape to reading-flow, interpolate-size and scroll-state container queries. For each one he shows current browser support and example code, and he points out which can already be used as progressive enhancements.

He also describes an LLM confidently spreading an unsupported ARIA attribute across a project, and asks readers to help fund the effort.

Simon Willison documents twelve iterations of Battle Drones, a browser-based Command & Conquer style strategy game built mostly through prompts to Claude Code, with links to prompts and transcripts. He covers the jump from a dull prototype to a fun game, a 3D port to three.js, LLM-versus-LLM agent battles, and multiplayer over audio and then a small WebSocket relay.
